Your responsibilities :
As Management Controller, you will be at the heart of the company’s financial operations, working closely with the Finance Director. You will supervise a small team in the administrative department and be responsible for the following tasks :
- Administrative department team leader :
- You will supervise and motivate the team to ensure smooth and efficient management of financial operations.
- Sales accounting :
- Verification of correct invoicing and management of invoices (including credit notes).
- Preparation and dispatch of sales invoices.
- Assistance with credit control to ensure optimal management of customer receivables.
- Supplier accounting :
- Reconciliation of VAT Customs accounts for accurate and compliant management.
- Management control :
- Participation in monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with current methods and deadlines.
- Collaborate with operational staff in drawing up budgets, indicators and performance indicators, as well as monitoring forecasts and updating them.
- Carrying out ad hoc studies at the request of your line manager.
Profile required :
- Education and experience : You have a Master’s degree in management, finance, or equivalent, and/or significant experience in management, commercial and financial control, ideally in the transport sector.
- Languages : Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
- Technical skills : You are at ease with accounting software and have a good command of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables).
- Personal qualities : Rigorous, precise, sociable, and endowed with a good critical sense, you are ready to take up a new challenge in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment :
- Location : Based in Mollem (1730), you will join a close-knit team within a well-known company in the transport sector. Face-to-face work.
- Hours : Work Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, with stable daytime hours.
- Supervision : You will report to the Finance Director, in a setting conducive to the evolution and development of your skills.
